GARRY HIGBEE
OAK GROVE, MO
1960 FORD FAIRLANE SEDAN

April, Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate you sending it, and i will post it to my web site.

Thanks, Bob

We worked with Ultraman twice on cars. Actually, it was the same car. The first time the deal didn't work out (no fault to Bob). It was a disappointment to my husband for sure. Things changed and some months later I contacted Bob to see if the car was still available and made hubby a happy man. Purchased a 1960 Ford Fair-lane and the transaction went smooth. Bob hooked us up with delivery and the car was in our driveway in no time. Upon delivery, there were a few issues with the car and Bob worked with us to make things right. We even purchased another item the following year. Thanks Bob.

NEVILLE GAWN
NEW ZEALAND, VA
1960 FORD GALAXIE 500

Hi Bob,
It's Neville Gawn here from New Zealand, I bought the 60 fairlane off you last year. In regard to our phone call on Friday, the piece of stainless steel moulding required is the drivers side back guard piece. It runs from the door to the back of the car. If you can find one of these in good condition that would be great. Also Bob, I was wondering if you could also find me a drivers side interior aluminium door scuff plate please - in good condition.
Thanks very much for your help, you can email me back at this email address if you need to. Also I have attached some photos of the car as promised, I've spent a bit of money on it and it's come up really well. the car's running great and I'm really happy with it.

thanks again Bob,
Regards Neville.

1969 FORD MACH 1

JOHN, IT'S GOOD TO HEAR YOU ARE ENJOYING THE MACH 1.
I THINK IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES AFTER THE SHOW SEASONS END.
WHEN WE DISCUSSED THE PROBLEMS UPON PURCHASE, I FELT THEY WERE MINOR THINGS, AND IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR ON TRACK TO DEAL WITH THEM.
WOW, IT'S A ONE OF ONE BUILT!! THE VALUE OF THAT TYPE OF MUSTANG WILL ALWAYS DO WELL. PLUS GREAT COLORS AND OPTIONS.
IT'S GOOD TO HAVE FOLKS APPRECIATE YOUR MUSTANG, I LIKE TO SHARE THEM ALSO.
I DON'T KNOW ANY MORE ABOUT HISTORY THAN WE DISCUSSED WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT, I REMEMBER IT HAD SAT IN DRY STORAGE AFTER MERSHONS SOLD IT, PRIOR TO THAT I'M AT A LOSS.
I DO HAVE SOME INFO FROM THE LAST OWNER, MAYBE I CAN EMAIL HIM AND GET MORE INFO. I'M HAPPY TO HELP.
THANKS, AND I WILL ADD YOU TO THE TESTIMONIALS LIST ON MY WEB SITE.
GREAT TO KNOW ALL IS WELL WITH YOU. BOB ELLIOTT

I've attached a couple of photos from the first show held at a local Ford dealer. The most recent show was last weekend at a Mustang Cruise in. I haven't got the pictures for that one yet, but if you're interested, I'll send them along.
>
> The car is running well but does drip oil (mostly) so I'm keeping an eye on the levels until I can have that taken care of. I haven't yet adjusted the engine to eliminate the tapping noise- probably in the spring. The backup switch is missing from under the car at the transmission. I think a '68 switch will work; I haven't seen any switches specifically for a '69 4-speed. Some of the cabin electrical systems aren't connected, primarily the courtesy lights (doors, under dash and rear sail panels). It doesn't appear that the dash clock is hooked up all the way, so I don't know if it's not working or not connected. Stuff to do in the off season! Since the car was originally ordered with an AM/8-Track radio, I've been looking to obtain one. E-Bay has them going for $500 -$900! I don't need one that much, but I'm not selling my 8-tracks just yet! I had a personalized Marti Report run on the car and it winds down to being the only one built as ordered.
> Anyway, I'd like to ask your help in getting some history of the car. I have folks asking me about it at the shows and cruise-ins and I don't have a lot to tell them. I recall that the title from the owner before you was from Mershon's. Is it possible for you to check with the person that traded it in to you about the history while he had it? I'd like to find out how many owners it had, who did the restoration and when, etc. I'd appreciate anything you might be able to come up with.

Hi Bob I enjoyed speaking with you several weeks ago and wanted to follow up with this email. If you will recall, in 1997 you sold me a stunning white 1974 Eldorado convertible. Based on your representations to me and a few color photos, I bought the car and you delivered it. The kind of successful transaction based on trust. Our communications were pre-email, pre-Car Fax and pre-digital pix. I still have it almost 12 years later and enjoy driving it every summer. Whether driving in a parade or cruising down the highway, it's a ton of fun. Thanks so much for selling me this great car. Dennis Grube El Paso, IL DENNIS, IT WAS GREAT TO HEAR FROM YOU AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, AND TO KNOW YOUR STILL ENJOYING THE WONDERFUL ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE. THE PICTURE OF THE ELDO HAS HUNG ON MY WALL WITH MY OTHER FAVORITES.THANKS, BOB

hello bob, sure, you can do that.

just wanted to touch base and wish you the best of the christmas season. i check your website occasionally to see what's new. anyway, happy new year, don

1964 CHEVROLET SUPER SPORT IMPALA 409

Hi Bob,
Just checking on to let you know how much I am enjoying the Impala SS. Sometimes I go out to the barn just to look at it for a while. I feel like I want to work on it but there really is not anything to do to it. A couple of seals to be replaced come springtime but that is about it. Maybe a high performance exhaust. If you have a line on a set of GM hi-po exaust manifolds let me know. Anyway, I’m curious to know how the truck is doing as well. Is your father in law having fun with it too?
Good to hear that the old timers are enjoying the truck. It seems like a
perfect fit. Please feel free to use my note as a reference on your website
and also OK to give my number to your exhaust manifold contact. I am trying
to stay away from aftermarket headers though. Want to keep it as close as I
can to GM part numbers. Also reminds me to ask about the status of original
rims we discussed too.
Regards,
Steve D'Angelo

Bob, Thanks for the info on the Model A truck. I'm "shopping" it around for you down here and I'll let you know if anyone is interested. Also, here's your reference.

This spring I had the absolute pleasure of purchasing a car from Bob of Ultra Automotive. The entire experience was great. I live in Florida, the car was in Ohio in a very remote location. One is always skeptical when making a purchase like this. Upon my arrival, Bob was extremely helpful and flexible with his time. He escorted me to the remote location and assisted with my examination of the car, a 1913 Metz. The Metz was exactly as advertised. After purchasing my new "baby," Bob even helped me get it loaded up in the trailer, and made sure I got her home to Florida safely. As classic car purchases go, this was a NO STRESS deal! Plus, I have two more "old car" buddies. You can't beat that!. Andy.

SUBJECT AUTO TRANSPORT Bob, Thanks for hauling my '30 Model A from Tulsa, OK to Mobile, AL. Your price on an enclosed trailer matched or beat open trailer quotes that I was getting and you were able to do it much quicker. As importantly, it was obvious that you knew what you were doing when you pulled up to my door exactly when you said you would with my car, well secured inside your trailer. By the way, the guy I bought the A from in Tulsa called me and was very complimentary of your communication skills (keeping him well informed of your ETA) and the care you took in loading the car. Hope you had a good trip back to Ohio from Crestview, FL. Feel free to use me as a reference. Douglas Fink,

SUBJECT 1972 CADILLAC DEVILLE Hello Bob, we just want to inform you that on Friday we received the caddy you sold some days ago.... yes, it's a long way from Milford to Dormagen / Germany. Thanks for your kind and excellent support during our conversations. It was a big help for us since we bought the first time a car this way. But now that the caddy stands in our garage nearly everything seems to be ok. The car is nearly in the condition you described and showed us on the pics and we are absolutly happy with "him" - we just found a nickname for it. We decided to call him our "Bobbycar". It was a pleasure to drive the first 200 miles from Bremen to our hometown and it seems that it is the beginning of a wonderful time with washing the car, polishing the chrome, ..., .... and at least cruis? through Germany. Thanks too for the achieva radio. Bye for now & maybe for some new business in the future. What do you think - for which price is it possible to get an Eldorado Convertible 1971 / 1972, in such condition ?? Dagmar & Mario
